Big History has a real world momentum.  The Big History Project is demonstrating at the high school level what we have always found at the undergraduate level - students love learning Big History. There is a groundswell of grassroots 'bottom up' support for Big History that is set to increase as the number of schools teaching Big History around the world continues to climb.

At the same time there is an emerging scholarly 'top down' appreciation for Big History's potential as an incredibly rich academic research agenda with global relevance. This convergence of enthusiasm is extremely exciting, and provides fantastic opportunities for the Big History Institute to engage with partners. We seek to advance a number of key societal objectives, from the increased engagement of students with science and technology, to providing a powerful intellectual paradigm for fundamental research across multiple disciplines. We are keen to expand our partnerships across the corporate, government, non-profit, educational, and research sectors to make an innovative and positive impact on our world.
